As a Community Interest Company our objectives are clear. We want to use digital technology innovatively to create opportunities for inclusion. We would like to take this opportunity to thank The National Lottery Community Fund for supporting our project and providing the funding that enabled us to appoint Cyberfrog Design as our official I.T partner. The funding ensured we created a functional, dynamic, and user-friendly platform.

Our Company was founded and is managed by disabled people.  During the first couple of years, we were able to research the various websites out there that are similar to The Accessible Guide. It also gave us the opportunity to engage with our stakeholders and discover the issues experiences of other disabled people have encountered whilst trying to access goods and services.

There of course were a lot of similarities and the barriers to inclusion were clear. It has always been our goal to create a new platform that will help users search for goods and services that meet their individual access requirements.

Our platform is based on factual information, something we, as a Company believe is a key element to ensuring a hassle free, inclusive experience. The support and funding from TNL Community Fund has been a game changer for our Company and from the early meetings our friends from Cyberfrog Design, we were enthusiastic to the type of platform we can develop.

It was clear we Cyberfrog shared our vision, of creating a genuinely useful resource for disabled people, one that is also easily scalable for growth and expansion. It may have taken us an additional 18 months to launch, due to the global pandemic. The support from Cyberfrog and the funding from TNL Community Fund is something we will always be grateful for.

Our journey has just begun and there is a burning ambition for us to scale our platform. The vision we have will help us promote and showcase businesses and their access provisions, whilst providing factual information the creates genuine opportunities for inclusion.
