Liverpool City Region is moving towards a more inclusive visitor experience, but for many disabled people the biggest challenge still happens before they arrive. Finding accessible places to eat, drink, or visit often means relying on outdated information, biased or misleading reviews, and guesswork.

The Inclusive City Card is designed to remove that friction entirely.

The Inclusive City Card gives visitors verified accessibility information directly in their Apple or Google Wallet. No apps, no downloads, no searching. A quick scan provides a curated list of accessible venues within a short distance of where they are. It’s simple, modern, and built around the requirements of disabled people moving through the city.

LCR venues play a key role in this. Hotels, tourism hubs, cultural venues, hospitality spaces, and community locations are often the first point of contact for visitors. When these venues join the Inclusive City Card network, they can issue the Concierge Card instantly, giving visitors confidence from the moment they arrive.

To support early adoption across the Liverpool City Region, we’re introducing a limited early‑access offer starting from £35 for LCR venues. This introductory rate is available for a set number of early‑access places. Once these places are filled, venues will join the system through the standard subscription model.

The early‑access offer includes priority placement during rollout, activation of your verified accessibility profile, and direct support throughout onboarding. It’s a straightforward way to join the system ahead of its launch later this year and ensure visitors receive accurate, trustworthy accessibility information from day one.

The Inclusive City Card is a small step towards a more inclusive Liverpool City Region, but it’s one that will make a real difference.

For more information, you can download the Inclusive City Card brochure, which explains the system and benefits in full.
